Affiliation with Riverside approved

Shore Health Services has announced that its Board of Trustees unanimously approved an affiliation with Riverside Health System. The affiliation would include all of Shore Health Services including Shore Memorial Hospital, Shore Cancer Center and Shore LifeCare at Parksley. Click here to read more.

Fifteen percent of the Eastern Shore’s residents suffer from diabetes – compared to 7 percent elsewhere in Virginia.

In the past, because of the demand, many of these patients had to wait as long as 18 months for specialized help in Norfolk or Salisbury.

Today there’s an option closer to home. Shore Memorial Hospital now offers its own ADA-certified diabetes center. Click here.
